An experience of lifetime
The desert tent provided by Hassan and MoroccoTrips.net was a haven of comfort amidst the rugged beauty of the Sahara. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and tranquility. The tent, meticulously maintained and thoughtfully appointed, offered a cozy retreat after a day of desert exploration. Its clean and comfortable interior provided the perfect sanctuary for relaxation, allowing us to unwind and recharge for the adventures that lay ahead. As we settled in for the night, the gentle rustle of the wind and the soft glow of lantern light created an atmosphere of serenity that was simply enchanting. Waking up to the first light of dawn filtering through the tent flaps was a surreal experience, reminding us of the breathtaking landscape that surrounded us. The most exciting Sahara desert encampment ever. Singing songs around the campfire was a bonus.
Stopped here for one night on our way down to the Sahara on motorbikes. It's impossible to find, as it's down a sandy track off the main road. But there are dozens of sandy tracks! It's not signposted at all. But we called when we were lost and a lad appeared on a moped and led us the way. We parked up our motorcycles at a neighbouring campsite and they drove us by 4x4 to the encampment, hidden from everyone else it felt like you were right in the middle of the Sahara desert! Camel rides and quadbiking were offered but we didn't take part. A walk up the dunes to watch sunset was adequate. It includes dinner in the price and we were all desperate for a beer. The owner sent his lad out on a 60 minute round trip to pick up a case of beer for us! The evening was spent singing songs and telling bad jokes in English, French, Arabic and Berber with the local lads. The 'tent' is not a tent. It's a fabric walled house! It's very luxurious and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was ample and adequate and the ride back to our motorcycles by 4x4 was enjoyable.

Family run camp, away from tourist area - friendly with good food and luxury tents
We had an amazing time - feels very safe and is away from the more touristy areas of the dunes. The staff are friendly and helpful and food is great. Very child friendly. We felt like Saharan Royalty
We had a wonderful time at Tassili Luxury Camp. We traveled as a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 kid) the staff was laid back but super nice - always ensuring you had the best. Upon arrival we were dropped off at a location and greeted by camels for our ride. The camel ride was much longer and significantly cooler than I expected. They asked if our kid was comfortable riding on her own our prefered to go with one of us - she opted alone. The views were awesome with no sound except for the wind. We spent 2 nights at the camp, which I am very happy to decided to do. It takes awhile to get to the desert, so we were able to recover well from our journey and enjoy the desert the following day. There are options of going into town and rent buggies, but we didn't do it in the end simply because we were tired. We had a lot of fun sand surfing with the free board the camp has and napping. The staff prepared us an amazing lunch and served it to us outside. We felt like Saharan royality with our luxurious they put together our meal. The food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was amazing and extremely tasty. I was surprised how good the food was being so isolated and also being vegetarian. They had a lot of options. All of the staff have simple personalities and it just adds to how amazing this place is. After dinner they gathered us by the camp fire and sang songs, danced, engaged us to come up with riddles and jokes. I cannot recommend this camp enough.

Very quiet and recommended camp
We spent a great night at the camp, which is somewhat away from the area where most camps are located so it is quieter and worth it. Our tent was clean and very pleasant, and had its own bathroom and water for washing. Other than that, dinner was great and filling. They gave us three dishes with Moroccan soup, Berber salad and two trajines, one delicious vegetarian and one chicken. Breakfast also had variety. Apart from that, the experience in the desert was very impressive and recommended, we rode a camel at sunset, at night they played Berber music and in the morning we saw the sunrise among the dunes. Beautiful, clean and the food is very good. The perfect place to savor the desert without crowds,
A spectacular place! A large and very beautiful haimas, with a huge bed and a private bathroom, everything very very clean, the place is beautiful, the treatment received was very polite and fun at night by the bonfire, getting up and going to the dunes and when returning take a very good and very varied breakfast. The wonder among the dunes
Our stay at Tassili was truly wonderful: we were welcomed with great warmth and professionalism by the guys who run the camp. Our tent was super comfortable, spacious and with attention to the smallest details; delicious traditional dishes were served for dinner and breakfast and in the evening, around the bonfire and under an incredible starry sky, we were entertained by Berber songs. It is a place that takes you into a magical dimension, difficult to describe! Tassili camp, the best camp in the desert!
Tassili camp is the best way to experience desert life. This remote location is amazing! Quiet and yet at the foot of beautiful sand dunes. The advantage of this camp is its location, there are far too many camps at Merzouga and they are next to each other. This means there is a lot of noise and you miss the peace and quiet of the desert. At Tassili camp there is peace, quiet and no light pollution so you can see the stars clearly. The dunes are slightly less high than at Merzouga, but definitely high enough and with beautiful views. The tents are very nice and large and the beds sleep wonderfully. It's nice that you have your own toilet and hot shower in the tent. In the evening, the music around the campfire is a nice experience. The guys who work there are so nice. They are not pushy but polite and always very customer friendly. We stayed here for 2 nights and we still ran out of time. It's a lot of fun to sandboard here! The jeep safari that you can take here is highly recommended. You drive through a beautiful area with stops with nomads, viewpoints, an oasis, fossil hunting and includes a delicious lunch. We took the camel ride at sunset, beautiful! The camels are well cared for and treated well. At Tassili you do not have to leave the camp at sunrise, as is the case with many camps in Merzouga. You can sleep in here and have breakfast at your leisure. This camp does not come across as pushy and commercial, you will be taken to the camp by jeep for free. This goes perfectly and they arrive at the agreed time. There is good communication via WhatsApp. At most camps in Merzouga you have to pay a considerable amount extra to get to the camp by jeep. Follow the pink (they have now changed to white) tires from the main road so that you arrive at the parking lot. Google maps says the wrong location but just look for a tire on the road, here you have to turn left into the desert. This is easy to find and easy to drive with a normal rental car. If you want the best camp in this beautiful desert, Tassili camp is the best choice. We compared many camps and Tassili met all our expectations. UNFORGETABLE EXPERIENCE
This year we have traveled several times, but without a doubt this trip has been one of the best. I didn't expect to have such a beautiful and wonderful experience... It's hard to describe in words how good we felt!! The staff is super attentive and friendly, they take care of all your needs, the place is equipped with all the comforts that we are used to, the walk with the camels, the sunset, the very good food, the night show... Everything is impressive. And with a tranquility that does not exist in Spain. Special thanks to Hassan who made us live an unforgettable experience. SPECTACULAR WITHOUT WORDS
Simply spectacular, this experience must be lived once in a lifetime and in this camp I assure you that the experience will be doubly rewarding. It was my second time in Merzouga and nothing like the first camp I went to! Thanks a lot for everything! Staff, room, place, food, entertainment, everything...
