Our luxury tents in the Merzouga desert
Ten private tents, from €100 to €425 a night depending on occupancy. All with their own bathroom, a hot shower and air conditioning and heating.
What you will find in your tent
Every tent is made from Berber fabric and furnished with rugs and crafts from the region. Inside you have the bed, a lounge area to read or escape the midday sun, and a private bathroom with a toilet and a hot shower.
There is also air conditioning and heating, available from 20:00 to 08:00: cool nights in summer, and no shivering in winter when the desert temperature drops. That is not standard in a desert camp.
Outside, your own terrace facing the dunes. At night, the path between the tents is lit with Moroccan lanterns.
Tent types and prices
Six configurations, all with the same fit-out. The price is per tent per night, not per person, and includes half board, the camel ride and the 4x4 transfer.

Every extra night is charged at the same rate, with no supplements. There are only 10 tents, so high season fills up well in advance.
What the price includes
No hidden extras. All of this is part of the tent rate:
- Accommodation in a private tent.
- Private bathroom with a hot shower.
- Dinner and breakfast.
- Sunset camel ride.
- 4x4 transfer both ways to the camp: we come and get you.
- Berber music in the evening.
- Sandboarding.
- Air conditioning and heating from 20:00 to 08:00.
What to bring
In the desert there is a big gap between day and night. This is all you need:
- Layers: hot during the day, noticeably cooler at night, especially from November to February.
- Comfortable shoes for walking on sand. Flip-flops will not get you far up a dune.
- A scarf or hat for your head, and sunglasses.
- Sunscreen and a water bottle.
- A charger and a power bank: there is electricity, but you will use your phone more than you think.
