What data we process and where it comes from
We only process the data you give us: your name, email address, phone number and the details of your stay (dates, number of guests, allergies or needs you tell us about) sent through the form on this site, by WhatsApp, by email or by phone.
If you write to us on WhatsApp, the conversation also takes place on the WhatsApp platform (Meta), which applies its own terms and privacy policy.
This website has no user registration, creates no accounts and buys no mailing lists.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote: the legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
To manage your booking and your stay, including any needs you have told us about: the basis is performance of the contract.
To meet the legal and accounting obligations that apply to us: the basis is compliance with a legal obligation.
If you give us health-related information, such as a food allergy, we process it solely so we can look after you safely and because you have explicitly given it to us for that purpose.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for as long as needed to deal with them, and for no more than one year.
Booking data is kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the periods required by applicable tax and accounting rules.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or pass your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
It is accessed only by the providers that deliver services to us, such as web hosting, email and the messaging platform, and only to deliver that service.
If you booked through Booking.com or another platform, that platform is an independent controller of the data you give to it.
International transfers
Our company is established in Morocco, outside the European Economic Area. If you contact us from the European Union, your data is processed in Morocco, a country without an adequacy decision from the European Commission.
In those cases we apply the safeguards provided for under EU law, such as standard contractual clauses with our providers, and we process your data to the standard described in this policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to port it. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what was done before.
To exercise any of these rights, write to tassililuxurydesertcamp@gmail.com stating which right you wish to exercise. We will reply within the period set by the applicable rules.
If you live in the European Union and believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the supervisory authority in your country.
Children
This website is not aimed at children. Bookings are always made by an adult, who provides any details of the children travelling with them.
